Background
I have done production sound (mix, boom, playback) on independent feature films, documentaries, network & cable television programming, commercials, web series, corporate training videos, web-based promo pieces, shorts, student films, even a short musical, as well as doing some work in radio.
Corporate/network clients have included ABC, FOX, A&E, PBS, History Channel, TLC, Discovery Health, Apple, Nike, Mercedes-Benz, Scion, Avid, Adobe, AEG, and HDNet.
I am comfortable working ENG style (ie, mixing and booming at the same time) and work in both single-system and double-system settings. I especially love the dynamic of small, run ‘n’ gun-type crews, but working on full-size crews is great, too. I am happy to work as a boom operator, if you already have a sound mixer for your shoot.
I taught classes in production sound at the L.A. campus of the New York Film Academy from 2007 through 2010.
